Music For Rivers

Well July 13th was the day and the 2nd annual MUSIC FOR RIVERS

concert has come and gone.  It was a success – we finished in the black – but just barely.  All who attended enjoyed the music and food.

A big thank you to all who attended and all who helped with the event.

Music For RiversAnd if you made it to last year’s concert I’m sure you’re already thinking about attending and now you know the date.  Last year The Cowboy Angels, Christine McCormick and the Refrigerator Incubators and  Ellen Tipper all gave us a night to remember!

This year’s performers promise to do the same. I’m happy to note Christine is returning with Cigar Box Junkies along with two new (to us), popular Maine bands. Here are a couple of other pertinent items.

When– 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, July 13th

Where – Round Top Farm, 3 Round Top Lane, Damariscotta, Maine

Who – Blue Grass Bands the Katahdin Valley Boys, the Sandy River Ramblers and the Cigar Box Junkies.

Why – To enjoy and evening of good music with like minded people and help with Cold Water Conservation.

Food – Yep, once again Just Got Smoked BBQ Catering will be smoking it up for you.

How Do You Get a Ticket – Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Sean Mc Cormick, (207) 380-5789, or at the door.

How Much – Sooner or later we have to get to the bottom line and here it is – Cost is $20 per person. Proceeds from the concert will benefit cold water fisheries and be used by KVCTU for ongoing education and conservation activities like the Trout Unlimited, Maine Trout Camp (campers shown below)
