Read more: Refrigerator IncubatorsOn a small tributary to the Sandy River chapter members helped Paul Christman and Dan McCaw with a project designed to hatch Atlantic Salmon eggs streamside – IN REFRIGERATORS. The good part is it worked. Below are some shots showing the way things were rigged. The streamside refrigerators have given way to actual in-stream fertilization and the hatching of eggs in man made redds. But in 2005 these refrigerator incubators were cutting edge technology.
